Mystery Plane Contrail: Was Pilot Avoiding UFO?

Witnesses in Hampshire, England reported seeing a bizarrely shaped contrail in the sky last Monday morning. One resident was able to capture a picture of the contrail showing evidence of a rapid change in the flight path of the plane leaving it behind. Weather observers confirmed that wind appeared to play no factor in shaping the contrail. Previous reports of UFO sightings in the area have left some wondering if the plane was taking evasive action to avoid colliding with an unknown craft. A photo of one suspected UFO was taken just north of the contrail site last week. Nats, the air traffic control company responsible for the skies in the area, could not explain why the plane changed direction and is refusing to release any information to the public.

Since the consumption of human meat is presently illegal, the burgers were developed based off of research into the words of some of history’s most famous serial killers and explorers. In particular, the chefs were influenced by author and journalist William Seabrook’s 1920’s account of a human rump roast meal with the Guere tribe of West Africa:

Over the weekend, Nine Inch Nails front man, Trent Reznor, released his latest collaboration with dark ambient and electronic composer, Atticus Ross, and director of Gone Girl, David Fincher. The group last worked together on the Academy Award winning soundtrack for The Social Network, focusing on a theme of “creativity.” The mood for Gone Girl is decidedly more sinister… Here is a inspiration for the score as described by Reznor and Fincher in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal:

Reznor: “[Fincher] said, ‘Think about the really terrible music you hear in massage parlors… The way that it artificially tries to make you feel like everything’s OK. And then imagine that sound starting to curdle and unravel.'”

Fincher: “I said a spa, not a massage parlor! I was listening to that calming, placating music and thought, we need to tap into this. The movie is about the facade of the good neighbor, the good Christian, the good wife. So the notion was to start with music that’s attempting to give you a hug.”

Man Unbelievably Survives Chainsaw Lodged 2 Inches in His Neck

Tree-trimmer James Valentine experienced this very problem on Monday – while 20 feet off the ground. Valentine was working in a tree in Ross Township, Pennsylvania when his chainsaw slipped and sawed two inches into his neck.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

So the race began shortly after the 2:30 p.m. accident, which involved efforts from three coworkers, seven paramedics, along with police officers and medical officials, all of them at the top of their game, officials said.

Mr. Valentine held the chainsaw in place with his right hand while hugging the trunk with his left arm to descend 5 feet in his rope harness with cleats on his shoes. Coworkers controlling the rope lowered him gently to sitting position on the ground. He leaned against one coworker, while another held the chainsaw steady. A third coworker worked to unbolt the blade from the heavy chainsaw motor without moving the blade.

Doctors at Allegehny General Hospital were able to successfully remove the blade which had fortunately not severed any major arteries.

Despite the terrible incident, Valentine has no plans to give up his tree trimming job any time soon as is anxious to get back to work.
